We had THE best time at The Rabbit's Lair last Saturday. We met so many sweet ladies - and the staff is amazing! Mary Elizabeth has filled her shop with everything happy... we were thankful to be a little part of it all. And here we are to share it with all of you!
Nan and Paps came to visit for a few days last week, and we were so excited for Nan to be able to make it to the show! Abigail and Apphia posing beside the Amy Butler fabrics.... (Just because they matched.)
The marie-madeline displays!!
We visited with customers (and with each other, of course)...
All of this gorgeous yarn made us really-really-really wish we could knit. Sweaters of some sort. You know?
And all this wool! They have silk, too, which is enough to make our mouths water.
Naturally, we weren't about to make it out of The Rabbit's Lair without a little something for our stashes.
Tired feet on happy girls. It was a good day.
Lots of love!
the Long ladies

It looks like you had a wonderful trip! You surround yourselves with color and happiness! No wonder I want to spend time here! Hugs! ♥

I LOVE the dress in the 4th picture from the top with the pink sleeves. Is this one of your patterns?

Knitting is super easy if you want to learn! I learned mostly from YouTube videos. Ravelry.com is amazingly helpful. It's forums are full of people with advice, the pattern directory is amazing, and there are reviews of every yarn on the planet.
Besides, knitting is super portable. And we all need handiwork that can be done in the car!

It looks like a very fun filled day for all of you! Thanks for sharing the pictures, ladies. Btw, I still LOVE my adorable "Chic Sister's Apron" you made me. It's so cute and I've had many compliments on it too. :)

I agree with Meg. Knitting is super easy to learn. But what you probably don't need is another hobby to interfere with all that sewing. I have trouble juggling the two myself.
But, I really came by to show off pictures of my finished AnaClaires.
