I love your dress! The fabric is beautiful, and I adore the sleeve hem.

Where did you get those boots??!! I love them and am now in total need of them! haha

Happy birthday girl...you parties with Dr. Pepper. You're awesome :)

Aasmith18~
My boots are originally from Anthropologie, but I found them on eBay last year, at a pretty good deal (for Anthro boots that is!). I hope you find some. They are some of my very favorite shoes!

Girl you look stunning! That dress is gorgeous too. Alright next year give me a heads up on your birthday and I will drink a DP with you! Loved your list. I wish we were neighbors! Have I said that before?? Um yeah!

I love your dress! What pattern did you use? I need to make myself some dresses for summer. Do you think I'd be able to shorten the sleeves and skirt a bit?

Your dress is gorgeous! Thank you for sharing these pictures.
I was wondering if you designed the pattern yourself. I sew for my
daughters, but would love to become brave enough to sew for myself.
I  your patterns and your site!

Achaia

Hi Gertrude95~
I used a McCalls 5466 for my main dress, though I did add the "v" sleeves, and lengthened it about 6". You should definitely try making some clothes for yourself! It's really not that much harder than sewing for your girls.
Thanks so much for commenting, and for the sweet words about our designs!
