A plan.

Giveaways.  Giveaways and sales!  Now, how's that for a great combination?  Over the next several weeks before Christmas, we'd like to be hosting lots of both.  And we plan on including one of our "happy scrappy" quilts in the mix... this time, though, we'll have two for the winner to choose from!  All right in time for Christmas.

So we wanted to let you all know first.  Lord willing, you'll get your first newsletter-- with all the good details-- at the beginning of next week.  This is going to be such fun!  Just in case you had your eye on something...

We've been working heartily to stock the shop with all kinds of new goodies.  (We may even give away one of our new products!)  Nana's been crocheting up a storm, too.  A new pattern is in the works, new fabrics are on the way, and our days are full.

And tonight is Cheeseburger Soup night... want to come over and chat awhile?  Maybe we'll have some brownies for dessert.

Our summer shade jumper pattern is ready for shipping!  We're so happy... it's a very thrilling and satisfying aspect of a designer's life to finally see a pattern done.  And ready to go out. And pretty.  Need we say more? 

  

You can purchase them through our website here.  Or, they're available through our Etsy Shop.  To all of those ladies who pre-ordered them.... they should be heading your way tomorrow.  We hope everyone is as excited as we are!  Shouldn't we celebrate some way?

 

Oh, that's right.  We bought more fabric to celebrate.  Some to go on our website and some to go up in the Etsy Shop.  Yummy!

Hooray! Street fair skirt sewing patterns are here at last!

We are so very happy to finally be able to announce that our first sewing pattern for ladies is now available!  You can find them right over here.  The street fair skirts pattern comes in two size groups (2-10 or 10-18), with full-sized pattern pieces and fully illustrated instructions (of course!).  Special thanks to all of the sweet ladies who've pre-ordered one of these patterns.  They'll be in the mail at the beginning of next week, Lord willing!

Happy Tuesday to everyone!

~We just put up a bunch of yummy tessas (in all different colors and sizes) up in our Etsy Shop!

~The tessa pattern is almost done!  They should be ready to ship out on Saturday.  The fronts turned out so, so cute.  We're happy.  A big thank-you to all of you who pre-ordered!  If you haven't yet, there's still time (& you can get free shipping!  The tessa pattern is $14.)... just drop us a line. 

~Time to say good bye for about a week.  Trip time.  Always interesting and never boring!

~We won't be shipping orders from April 12th through April 22nd.  If you need anything before then, please order before Friday night, or we won't be able to get it to you till after we get back.  But, please feel free to order, write, ask questions, etc.  Lord willing we will be back soon and can answer everyone!  We love hearing from you.

We have really wanted to give y'all a blow-for-blow account of life around here, but have found the time issue rather trying.  You sympathize, right?  Here we are getting ready for vacation (it technically isn't that far away!), filling orders, sewing, sewing, sewing.  Ah yes, did we mention sewing?

We're working on another clothing collection-- fun!  We really will try and post pictures once it's all done.  The colors are nice and summery.

And with summer comes some more exciting things... we're working on finishing up two more patterns to be released in the very near future and one for (probably) the beginning of  summer.  We'll see where all that leads...  I'm just itching to have a fun photo shoot with four of the most adorable girls you've ever seen!  (Did that give you a little hint?)

Last, but definately not least, we are filling several sewing orders and trying to get some personal spring/summer sewing done.  Lord willing there will be more on that later too.  Maybe we can talk some more about that wonderful thing called color, and how it applies to sewing our own clothes!
