We've been making quilt tops lately! It's really a good lesson in different personalities, you know? It is pretty amazing to see what all of us pick out.
And truthfully, we've made dozens and dozens of quilts, but we've never used one single quilt pattern-- they've always been "made up" patterns. So, for something really "different" we decided to use a free quilt pattern of Amy Butler's (the Mid Mod one). We chose to alter it slightly so that it would turn out bigger (and the borders are different sizes).
Now, for fun, we want you to all leave a comment and "cast your vote" for your favorite quilt top! What do you think?
quilt top #1 ~Swell
quilt top #2 ~ Ava Rose
quilt top #3 ~ Pop Garden
PS These quilt tops are Kristie's, Apphia's, and Achaia's... can you guess whose is who's?
My favorite is Quilt Top #2!!

Ya'll are incredible seamstresses!!! I would have to say #2, I just love blues and pinks together. But they're all beautiful!

I like the first one the best, but I think my daughter would love the second one because it has more pink. :D

I love them all but my favorite is quilt #3

Oh, wow, what beautiful quilt tops! The second one is my favorite. :)

My vote is quilt number 1. They're all beautiful, though. Looks like a good way to use up scraps/strips of fabric, yet it doesn't look "scrappy."

I like #3 because I am partial to green!!!

They are all beautifully done! It is always fun to see what fabrics people choose when using the same pattern! I must say that I love them all, but my personal favorite is #3!

It's a toss up between two and three but I'm going with three because it's green! :) They are all absolutely gorgeous.

Oh wow! Those are all so beautiful! I admire you all too! I'm hoping one day to try a quilt! :) I would have to say my favorite is the Ava Rose b/c I just adore those fabrics. They are so sweet and feminine, but I love the Pop Garden too! So fun!

Hard choice, ladies! I really like number three, though. It is amazing how fabrics that maybe don't appeal to you whole, can make beautiful quilts and things when sliced up and combined with other ones. :-)

Hello Long Ladies!
It is very hard to decide on which one I like best, but I really like #2. I really like pink as you can tell by my blog name. Haha! Great job, Kristie, Apphia, and Achaia on your beautiful quilt tops. :)
Love,
Emily

My favorite is quilt top number 1! I really love all of them though :)

I like #2 with the Ava Rose fabric, although all of them are lovely! I would guess that #1 is Apphia's, #2 is Kristie's, and #3 is Achaia's, just from reading your descriptions of what you like from the "About" page.

Rebecca, you are so right! Good guessing!
