The gift I gave that was my favorite to make and to give was a scrapbook of my Mother's life - from birth until today. I was sneaky and gathered all kinds of old photos of her childhood days to put in there. It was very fun to make and very thrilling to see the look on my Mother's face when she opened it. Priceless.

I made my dearest, most darling neice a new pillow for her bedroom. My sister just had her fifth and final baby in October...another boy...my niece's FOURTH brother. To her credit, she wasn't all that upset and just happy for a healthy sibling...but man, did she want a sister!! So she got a room makeover and I made a pillow to go with the new room. She was so excited...it was so much fun to give it to her!
Thanks for another great giveaway. Happy New Year!

We had the time of our lives helping the lady who worked their. We would take orders, serve, do the dishes...and in between we would carol to the customers.

The favorite gift I gave this year was the lap quilt I made for dear friends who have been with me throughout my journey since my husband's sudden death 3 1/2 years ago. They have been with me through everything and it felt so good to do this for them. I also loved giving a large pre-molded play fort to my adopted grandson (he's 3, from Korea, and has autism and epilepsy). He is enjoying it so much, as it is set-up inside his home, in the dining room, so he can play on and in it regardless of the weather. He is such a sweetie pie! Love him to pieces!

My husband and I gave my MIL a sweater that I hand knit. I loved it. I am thinking of making one similar for myself. We also gave a niece a sweater that I hand knit that was according to my husband so cool. I liked it and was glad that others appreciated the time and workmanship that went into it.

This was our second year of giving all handmade gifts, so it's kind of hard to choose actually! But I would have to say, the embroidered picture I gave to my daughter. She is newly married, and they are blending two families. They moved into a new house, and she sent me a picture of it. I put the picture in Photoshop and drew some basic outlines of the house, and then embroidered those in red. I added text to the bottom - Our First Home and listed all their names. I put it in a frame. I love how it turned out and they were so happy with it. So, that's my favorite gift I gave. Thank you for offering the bag - love the fabric!

Hello Long Ladies! The favorite gift I gave was to Mary. My grandparents had given me a baby doll cradle when I was a little girl. I had saved it many, many years to be able to give my little girl. After 16 years of marriage and 4 boys we finally had a little girl to give it to! She got a very special baby doll from her grandparents this year so I gave her the cradle too (my dad had to do a little repair on it). She loves it. It does my heart good to watch her bend over the cradle to give her baby a kiss :o)!!

The gift sacks that we gave out at a prison were my favorite gifts to give this year. They were very simple-- Christmas cards, an apple, an orange, some candy, shampoo, and a gospel tract. Simple, but hopefully lifechanging.
