Spring is really inspiring to me! (Me, being Abigail.) First. It inspires me to make a rain hat to match my rain coat. I love it! Besides.... who can go on a walk when it's raining outside without a rain hat too? (Thanks to Nan for sending me a hat pattern I could play with!)
Then my aunt (who happens to have very cute toenails... remember?) inspired me by sending us a clipping from a magazine... Of course, it doesn't look quite like it looked in the magazine clipping. But that's part of the fun of it! (And it definately causes beautiful sleep!) So I made this:
It's very easy... would anyone like some instructions?
Bags. I'm bag crazy, (like all my other sisters! Thanks Mommy!) So I came up with this... perfect tag-along, I thought! I named it Jenny, after two very special ladies.
I'd better go now! Tell me this: what does Spring inspire you to do?
xx, Abs
Delightful rain hat, Abigail! It looks so very nice and matches your rain coat beautifully!
And the pillowcase and bag are adorable, as well!
Let's see...what does spring inspire me to do? Go outdoors in God's Creation, sew, knit and craft lovely things in spring colors, take photos outside, etc!
Blessings!
Thanks for sharing!

The rain hat and quilt are wonderful! I am a 'bag lady' and love them all! I'm so glad I have a messenger bag that one of you made! I love pretty handmade bags from beautiful Spring fabric! Yours is adorable! ♥

Stay inside and wait until it's over! This year I've been hit hard by seasonal allergies (and why now when never before I don't know). I do love to sew though when I can and staying inside is perfect for getting those sewing projects done!

Your hat is amazing! I have only sewn one hat before and I found it so challenging that I said I would never make one again - which means that I will probably try again sometime soon! :) I love the quilt and bag too - they both remind me of spring. Spring inspires me to garden outside, and sew lots of bright-coloured "springy" things inside.

Right now Spring is inspiring me to plant some flowers, clean and organize my house, and sew lots of pretty things. But most of all, Spring is inspiring me to hurry up and finish this semester of school so that I can have time to actually do all these other things!

Instructions would be lovely! Spring inspires me to deep clean the house and toss out as much as possible! It also starts a mania for planting and a sewing obsession to brighten the place up a little :)

I love your rain hat Abigail, so cheery and bright! :) Spring is one of my favorite seasons of the year. This warmer weather makes me want to have tea parties and lunch outside. But my allergies won't let me, they keep me inside as much as I can.
