Oo! Favorite Christmas memory- It was 3 years ago. We had our little boy who was almost 2 and we were thrilled that he was doing so well (he was a 28 week premie) and we had just found out that we were expecting our little girl :)

My favorite Christmas memory was a few years ago when we went and caroled to people in our church...Our pastors family's, and then some of the elderly in our church, and a few friends. :) Just our family went and drove around and caroled. It was a great time together and a wonderful time to be able to bless shut-in's and those who usually minister to us. :) We did it again this year with our bible study group and again it was a blessing and joy to be able to do it! :D
This fabric collection is soo beautiful! :D I hope I win..I am into learning quilting, and I would love to make something delightful with these. :)
Blessings and Hugs ladies!
In Christ,
~Rachel~

memories of my family reading the story of the Birth and then "the Night Before Christmas" - ending with singing a few carols.

My favorite Christmas Memories are touring Union Square in San Francisco every year...My Home Town... to see all the windows dressed up... especially the Macys Window... This year the square had a lovely tree and all the Palm Trees were lit up too... San Francisco is a lovely place already, but at Christmas... it's even more magical!

I just love putting up the Christmas tree with my girls every year! so far, most of the ornaments end up clumped in one area on the bottom, but I love it and it's beautiful!

my favorite Christmas memories have to be the children coming in and waking me up with a sweet kiss and telling me "Merry Christmas!"

My favorite Christmas memory is making frosted sugar cookies every year as a child. I still make them every year, it's my grandmas recipe, and they are my children's favorite. I hope it's a tradition that they pass along to their families, too!

My favorite Christmas memory has to do with my then-2-1/2-year-old niece at our Christmas Eve church service. We had to sit down towards the front, and she got the idea that she could go over to the grand piano and that no one would follow her. She kept looking at her mom and dad and grinning and inching closer and closer. She was so short that no one behind the first few rows could see what was going on, and to this day (25 years later!) I still remember the elder and his wife behind us trying so hard not to laugh out loud during the very solomn candlelight service! And yes, her mom did get her before she got her fingers on the piano keys! Thanks for the giveaway and the opportunity to share memories!

One of my favorite Christmas memories is singing at church on Christmas Eve...and having a good friend spend Christmas here one year...we talked till early morning every night, made fudge together and ate it at midnight, skyped her family late on Christmas Eve...good times. :)

Hmmm...I just posted, but it isn't showing up. If this is a duplicate, please just delete one! ;) I'll do a different favorite Christmas memory this time.
My favorite memory was when I was a *very* little girl. We had a huge snow in our small town, but my parents and their friends bundled all of us kids up and pulled us through town on sleds caroling in the bitter cold. I still remember how red our finger were afterward...
Ahh...sweet memories!

A favorite Christmas memory for me is making cookies for Santa on Christmas eve with my little ones, who aren't all so little anymore.

My favorite Christmas memory is always Christmas Eve services. Christmas just wouldn't feel right without going to Christmas Eve Church! <3

Sledding at my grandma's with my cousins!
Posted by: Tiffani | December 27, 2010 at 02:30 PM
The time my brothers and I went sledding, after Christmas. It was the best sledding I'd ever had - the snow had melted, then froze over again so we could walk on top of almost a foot of snow and everything was iced over. We stayed out for hours!

My favorite Christmas memory is going to Nana and Grandpa's. They've been gone for years now, but I can still smell Christmas day at their house...MMmmm.

My favorite memory, as a little girl I loved going to church in the evening when is was dark outside, and we carried real burning candles
Posted by: Mariëlle | December 27, 2010 at 02:37 PM
I have many wonderful memories of Christmas, but one fun one always comes to mind. Dad had worked until midnight Christmas eve, and when he got home and finished all the wrapping with Mum, they decided to wake us up then and there - at 1am! By 2, we were out in the back yard sailing boats on our pool! It as a lot of fun, and extra special because it was so different. :)

Fish chowder by the roaring back porch fire. We had driven all over to find a fish with a head, dragged out the stoneware mugs to make bowls go around, started the fire early in the day to make it toasty warm in the uninsulated back porch, and we had tons of relatives that year. Last year for big family Christmas and Gram's last batch of fish chowder.

My favorite Christmas memory happened this year. My six oldest daughters (from the six year old on up) worked for three months to memorize a 700 word document called The Living Christ to recite to their dad as a Christmas gift. They did it first thing Christmas morning before we opened any gifts. It was a beautiful way to start our Christmas day celebration! And it made daddy cry. :D

I remember my mom, sister & I bundling up & Christmas caroling by a few of the elderly neighbors. We'd always get to go in & sample cookies.
I'd love to win a sample pack!

favorite Christmas memory is receiving a doll baby when I was 7 years old. My cousin had one and I wanted one just like hers. It was the same baby, but when we took her out of the package, she said, "Mamma mia!" As my cousin's only said, "Waa!" this made mine the superior doll!

Best Christmas memories from my childhood are going to Grandma Tiny's little pink house on Christmas Eve to celebrate with the entire extended family and to spend Christmas with Grammy and her perfect little tree with the tiny town under it.

What a hard question. But I will go with the year we went to Walt Disney World on Christmas Day. Us kids had dreamed about going for years, but we thought we could never really go. And I used to watch the Christmas parade on TV every year, so it was really special to be there on Christmas day. :) We had so much fun together as a family and we still talk about our trip all the time.
love,
~Ashley

What a splendid giveaway! One of my favorite Christmas memories would have to be our first Christmas with my sweet little sister from China! We came home on the 18th of December, and she was our perfect Christmas gift!

This would be perfect for some projects I have in mind. :) A favorite Christmas memory of mine? Definitely have enjoyed making new memories with my kids this year. My son is nearly 2, and we made applesauce and cinnamon dough ornaments this year. He thought they were cookies, and despite my best attempts at keeping him from doing it...he bit off a few of his snowflake "arms"!

One of my favorite memories was the year we had to put our Christmas tree up - twice! The first one fell and broke all to pieces! What a mess!

Four years ago I was eating (mostly watching everyone else eat) Christmas supper waiting for our first child to be born and holding my four month old niece. A great memory. My son was born the next day and life between those two has intertwined ever since.

My favorite Christmas memory this year is my 5 year old having to stop in the middle of opening presents to sing a song to Jesus for His birthday and our 2 year old thinking that was a great idea and having to sing her own song to Jesus too. IN THE MIDDLE OF OPENING PRESENTS! Little girls with priorities!

My favorite christmas memory is of my friend and I playing in the snow, when we were younger, before the plows came through. It was so quiet and peaceful. And of course it ended with hot apple cider.

One of my favorite Christmas memories is from last year. I made my Mom four skirts, and she was so excited! She passed away in July, so I am so glad I did that for her.

I enjoy getting together with my family. This year we made homemade pizzas and played games. Different but fun!

Definately one of my favorite christmas memories is having our annual craft open house in our home each year when I was a teen. We would sew, craft, and bake things and sell them from our home. We had a great time doing this my sister, mother, and I and always loved crafting together. Our friends also loved buying their chirstmas gifts that were home made.
Love the fabrics and your blog! hope to win them!

I think it would have to be about 10 years ago when I shared Christmas with my then 6 mo. old granddaughter, and had a white Christmas-the only one I have ever experienced!

My favorite Christmas memory is from when I was growing up. My mom had a special record she would play every Christmas and it had the most wonderful instrumental version of "Sleigh Ride". It's since been long lost, but I'll never forget it!

Oh, this is a wonderful giveaway! Even though my family does not celebrate Christmas, we still enjoy the quiet that we get around the holidays. My dad works from home and is usually busy but during the holidays he gets a break. I enjoy just relaxing with my family and thinking about how God has blessed and sustained us during the past year. Blessings! Eden

Well... probably when we bought our Dad a BB gun. We wrapped the BB gun box and than put that into another box and wrapped that box. When Dad got to the BB gun box he thought we had wrapped another thing inside the BB gun box. It wasn't until he found the BB gun inside that he realized that we had actually got him that.

What a very nice giveaway! Favorite memory: Christmases spent in Iowa with cousins.

My favorite Christmas memories are watching my now grown children when they were little. I loved watching the wonderment in their eyes as they each discovered presents, then were able to find gifts with their own names, then as they got older they tried to guess the gifts. Loved having my kids enjoy Christmas. Now I cherish watching my grandchildren enjoy the holiday.
Love, Love, LOVE this fabric!

My new favorite Christmas memory is when my doctor "unwrapped" (via c-section) an early Christmas present for us on December 16th -- our newest little girl. We got to savor all 5 lbs. 13 oz. of her the week before Christmas (she's delicious!), & this Christmas with her 7 siblings was our best ever because of all that God has blessed us with in our children. A new baby is the best gift imaginable, & it just makes the baby Whose birth we all celebrate even that much more real to us during the season. I'm not sure the memories of this Christmas season can be topped!

Hmm-I have so many good memories. Probably my favorite was when I was in the 8th grade. I hosted a caroling party. I invited a bunch of girls and we went caroling. Along the way we picked us several additional friends (mostly male friends). We ended the party at my house with goodies and a sock exchange. Each invited member was to bring a unique pair of socks. It was so great to spend time together and then to see what kind of socks everyone could come up with because they didn't have to be store bought and could be handmade.

Great Giveaway! Favorite memories of Christmas are looks on my daughters faces as they stepted into the living room to see all the presents on Christmas morning, such wonder and excitement. This year will be one of my favorite also, the grandson is 18 months and his expression was priceless!! Thanks for the chance at the giveaway.
