We are soooo excited about these newest fabric collections!! They are great fun to use (trust us!) and they handle exceptionally well. Oh so pretty!
Pop Garden and Bijoux
by Heather Bailey for Free Spirit
We have some sweet biancas planning to go up in the shop soon, and a new gracie ruffle skirt! Plus, most of you probably remember the cute collection we made with these for Emerson.
Farmer's Market

Remember the cute clothing collection we showed y'all? Better yet, Farmer's Market makes adorable aprons, bags, and gracie ruffle skirts!
Now can you get much better than that? Not in our book!
** Please note that these newest fabric lines are not up on our site as of yet. Lord willing they will be up in the very near future. If you are interested in Pop Garden and Bijoux OR Farmer's Market, don't hesitate to contact us via email. We are more than happy to send you pictures, and work with you from there. Thanks you so much for your patience and understanding as we are working out the kinks!
Jennifer Paganelli of SisBoom said this about our brooke shopper (made from the fabrics that she designed)!
"Friends of mine-- Look what came in the mail today!!! To order yours get over to the Marie-Madeline Studio The Long girls put the patches in all the right places!! This is the largest summer bag you'll ever need!! Ask Kristie for your Modgirls satchel and tell them I sent you...I just love what these women are about great design and functional product......Hugs for the long girls!!!"
Trying to find the "zapper" for the front of my army sack took a little time, and plenty of trial-and-error. But after working with it, I think we found a winner!! Here's some of the concotions we came up with before we hit on just the right one....
These just weren't cutting the mustard! Then, I found (with the help of my wonderful comrades) this group... it's a keeper with me!
P.S. I had to add a picture of the "vintage" packages some of the patches came in. It may be hard to believe, but some of them really were in the original packaging!
We've had a really. busy. week. But just so you know the latest exciting news from marie-madeline studio, here it is.... our trunk show debut! A special "thank you!" to Anita from Sew to Speak in Columbus, Ohio, for these great pictures.
By the way, don't forget to take advantage of our free shipping offer... it ends tomorrow!!
Hello Everyone!!
A week or so ago we got a custom order for a brooke shopper with long handles, like the ones featured on our brooke shoulder bag. Well... here it is!
What do you think? We were really happy with the way it turned out!
This is another great way to use the brooke shoulder bag and shopper pattern (especially if you need a bigger bag, but prefer long handles!) The only thing you need to change is....
~Use the long handles from the brooke shoulder bag
~Add interfacing to both handles
~Place the handles 2 1/4" from the center of the front/back
Viola!
We hope you all have a wonderful day~ the Long Ladies (& family!)
We are a mother and four daughters. Working together is our specialty. And we make things.
